HOW COACHING PAYS FOR ITSELF

Fall is a wonderful time of year for many reasons. The weather is crisp and refreshing, the leaves change color and provide stunning scenery, and there are many fun activities to enjoy, such as pumpkin carving, apple picking, and hayrides. But fall is also a great time to start planning business decisions for the

WHEN IS A REACTION AN OVERREACTION?

Working with so many Endos, my experience is that many of them appear to be easily triggered.  The work we do is about precision and as close to perfection as possible.  If we’re not careful, however, that same instinct can spill into the rest of our lives. In life, there are triggers that I

THE POVERTY MINDSET & THE ART OF ABUNDANCE

I read a quote the other day that I want to share: "The world belongs to those who let go.” By Lao Tzu It got me to thinking about clients I’ve worked with who can’t let go of fear and anxiety and consistently worry about worst-case scenarios.  The whole concept of a glass “half empty

What’s the difference between a general dentist and an endodontist?

General dentists are essential practitioners who keep teeth healthy by performing a wide variety of treatments from fillings to crowns to extractions, bridges, cleanings and much more. In the field of dentistry, there are several specialists including cosmetic dentistry, orthodontic services, periodontics, teeth restoration, oral-maxillofacial surgery and much more.

ENDODONTISTS ARE SPECIALISTS IN SAVING TEETH.

Just like a specialized doctor in any other field (heart specialists, oncologists, pediatricians, etc.), endodontists are specialists at diagnosing tooth pain and root canal treatment and other procedures relating to the interior of the tooth. In many cases, a diseased tooth can be saved with endodontic treatment.

ENDODONTISTS MUST COMPLETE MORE TRAINING. Along with two to three years of advanced training beyond dental school, endodontists must have incredible precision and hand-eye coordination, making them highly skilled at performing complex treatments.

ENDODONTISTS DO AN AVERAGE OF 25 ROOT CANAL TREATMENTS A WEEK, WHILE GENERAL DENTISTS TYPICALLY DO 2. Endodontists are skilled specialists in finding the cause of oral and facial pain that has been difficult to diagnosis.

ENDODONTISTS ARE EXPERTS IN PAIN MANAGEMENT AND TREATMENTS THAT ARE LESS INVASIVE. They use specialized techniques to ensure comfort during their treatments AND they are adept at minimizing tooth pain after their root canal procedure when the pulp infection or inflammation heals.

ENDODONTISTS USE CUTTING-EDGE SPECIALTY TECHNOLOGIES. Endodontists use the most advanced materials and equipment designed specifically to treat tooth pain, perform root canal treatment and make the experience more comfortable and successful. Some examples of technology: Digital radiographs and 3-D imaging allow endodontists to take detailed pictures of tiny tooth anatomy to better see the root canals and any related infections. Endodontists use dental operating microscopes to better see inside the root canals to thoroughly treat them.
